The S.M.T.H. (Send Me To Heaven) mobile game dares you to throw your phone as high into the air as possible.

The app which has now been banned on iTunes (Apple devices) measures how high you can throw your phone into the air. The Android app uses the phone’s accelerometer to measure distance travelled up, and then ranks you by World Top 10, Week Top 10 and Day Top 10. Note that the app doesn’t count distanced travelled horizontally, so sliding it or throwing it across the yard won’t count unless it somehow goes up.

If you haven’t figured out by now why this app was banned in the Apple App Store, it’s because of the obvious risk of dropping the phone while trying to catch it. There’s even a nice disclaimer posted by the author.

Warning: Author and distributor of S.M.T.H. is not liable for any damages or injuries arising out of playing the S.M.T.H. game.

You can download it here, but be careful if you really want to try this or have an old phone that you don’t care for anymore.
