Jesus turned water to wine, but it seems you may be able to turn water to vodka with Palcohol…which is close enough.

Palcohol essentially is a shot of rum or vodka is powdered form packaged just like those sugar packs you use to sweeten your tea. All you have to do is bust open a pack, add it to water, and you have instant alcoholic drink. From the various ads we’ve seen so far, there are going to be quite a few options including mojito, lemon drop, cosmopolitan, and margarita mixes.

The makers were clear to emphasize the fact that there’s enough filler powder in the packets to make snorting it pointless. As for the process that goes into making this, it’s a secret and they are in the process of patenting it and it is currently patent pending.

For now, the product still hasn’t been approved by the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) but its creator, Mark Phillips, is in the process of getting that changed, even though it may be a long time before it actually hits store shelves.

Read up more about it here.
